Privacy Policy
Last updated May 11, 2026. Revv tracks drives, estimates fuel cost, and keeps vehicle records with privacy-aware route handling.
Information Revv collects
Revv may collect waitlist email addresses, account details, vehicle details, completed trip records, GPS points for completed trips, speed, heading, timestamps, fuel-cost estimates, efficiency metrics, social likes, follows, and basic app diagnostics.
How driving data is handled
GPS data is buffered on device during a drive and uploaded after the trip ends. Revv applies privacy-zone handling to trim trip endpoints before routes are stored or displayed.
How information is used
- Provide trip history, route summaries, speed, fuel-cost estimates, and efficiency scores.
- Power social features such as profiles, follows, feed activity, likes, and share cards.
- Improve reliability, diagnostics, and product quality.
- Send waitlist, early access, and launch updates when you submit your email.
- Respond to support requests and account questions.
Subscriptions
Revv Plus subscription status and purchase history are handled through RevenueCat and Apple In-App Purchase. Revv receives subscription entitlement status so the app can unlock paid features.
Sharing controls
Share cards and social sharing are user-initiated. Shared cards may include trip and vehicle summary information selected by the app, such as distance, fuel cost, speed, efficiency, date, and vehicle name.
Maintenance data
Maintenance features may use vehicle details such as VIN, year, make, model, and mileage. When enabled, those details may be sent through Revv's server to a maintenance data provider to return schedule previews or service items.
Calendar reminders
If calendar reminders are added, Revv will use a user-confirmed calendar flow. Revv will not silently create events without the user confirming them.
Account deletion
You may delete your account from the app. Account deletion removes your Revv account, vehicles, trips, follows, likes, feed activity, groups, and local session state. Backups and logs age out within 30 days.
Third-party services
Revv uses Supabase for backend services, Mapbox for maps and route services, RevenueCat and Apple for subscriptions, Apple Sign In for authentication, NHTSA and fueleconomy.gov for vehicle lookups, and EIA for regional fuel price data. Revv does not sell personal data.
